A package dedicated to Mountain Climbers who would like to conquer climbing the highest peak in Borneo Island. It is also one of the highest mountains in South East Asia with a height of 4,095m above sea level. To avoid disappointment, climbers need to book early as there is a limitation of only 185 climbing permits issued per day. Most mountain climbers regard Mount Kinabalu as one of the challenging mountains to climb with a test of endurance both physically and mentally. So, are you up for the challenge?

Selamat Datang ke Malaysia or Welcome to Malaysia! Upon arrival we will travel from Kota Kinabalu Airport (BKI) to Kinabalu Park which would take approximately 2 hours travel time. Upon our arrival at Mount Kinabalu Park Headquarters, proceed for registration and meet up with our Mountain Guide at the reception. We will have a briefing before commencing our journey to Timpohon Gate. Our trekking will start from Laban Rata which takes approximately 4-5 hours depending on individual’s fitness level. Bear in mind that, Mount Kinabalu is likely to be one of the most physically demanding things you will ever attempt. Ensure to have warm clothes as the weather could drop up to 6 degrees at night. Enjoy our packed lunch around noon before continuing our journey to Laban Rata Rest House (3,353m). Check-in to your dormitory room and the rest of the afternoon or make breathtaking photos. Dinner will be served at Laban Rata Rest House. Please be aware that the dormitory is not heated. Overnight in Laban Rata.
Rise up as early as 02:00 hours as we continue to the Summit of Mount Kinabalu to catch the magnificent sunrise. The journey will take approximately 3 more hours with the support of some ladders, hand railings and ropes over the steeper parts. Temperature at the summit is normally between 0-3 degrees. With all the burning sweat climbing, watching the sunrise can only be described by most travelers as a life-enriching experience, priceless moment you will remember forever. After packed breakfast, we will descend back to Timpohan Gate. We will have a quick stop at Park Headquarters to collect our certificate of achievement. We will return in Kota Kinabalu after having lunch in the local restaurant.
After breakfast, it is free at leisure for any last minute souvenir shopping around the hotel/resort or taking photos, before we proceed to check out and transfer to the airport. We hope you return home with wonderful and memorable memories and visit us again.
