Niah Cave, was inhabited by humans at least 40 millennia ago. After breakfast, our journey will take approximately 2 hours before arriving to Niah Cave. With a great prehistoric background, you can learn more about the life of cavemen at the walls of the cave also known as “The Painted Cave”. The Park has two well marked trails which are Bukit Kasut Trail and Madu Trail. As it is your first time here, we will proceed with trekking along Bukit Kasut Trail which takes approximately 45 minutes. See the edible birds nest found high-up in the cave about 300 ft from the ground. Before returning to the hotel, a quick stop at Tusan Beach to catch the sunset view.

Do you know that the Iban Tribe’s were previously headhunters? Today, after breakfast, we will explore friendly Iban’s at Entulang Iban’s longhouse. Upon arrival at the Longhouse, you will be greeted by the chief of the longhouse for a short tour around the longhouse. We will see the way of living of the Iban’s, discovering their talent in totem poles carving and Basket Weaving, and not forgetting their famous homemade alcohol also known as Tuak. For good gestures, we welcome you to bring some gifts for the kids such as color pencils or medical aids. After lunch, we will head to Lambir National Park. After a short walk, we will cross the suspension bridge and relax at the shelter of Latak Waterfall. Bring along some changing clothes if you feel like swimming in the waterfall or we could continue the jungle trekking and explore the rainforest jungle.

After breakfast, it is free at leisure for any last minute souvenir shopping around the hotel/resort or taking photos, before we proceed to check out and transfer to the airport. We hope you return home with wonderful and memorable memories and visit us again.
