Itinerary
Selamat Datang ke Malaysia or Welcome to Malaysia! Upon arrival we will travel from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) to Kuala Lumpur city centre to catch the early coach at 07:30 am which would take approximately 8 hours from city centre to Jerantut. Upon arriving Jerantut, you could have some early lunch before we continue our journey. We will need to register and fill up the form to apply for entry Permit and collect the travel voucher afterwards. After check-in if time permits, we will go on a Cave Exploration at Gua Kota Gelangi before dinner.
After breakfast, we will start trekking the jungle over to Terasek Hill and Taman Negara Canopy Walk, regarded as the world’s longest canopy walkway. This suspension bridge is built with 530 meters length and 40 meter height above ground level. Don’t think too much about the height as the nature view will take your breath away and you will eventually forget all your concerns. A quick lunch before we continue our visit to Orang Asli Village and also rapid shooting cruising. Rapid Shooting, the name is actually cruising in a wooden boat, across seven (7) rapids along Sungai Tembeling. The night is not over as we will have a night jungle trekking after dinner. During the night, it is the best way for you to observe and discover the nocturnal creatures such as bats, badger and cockroaches. Please bring your own touch light to ease the find of these nocturnal and insects along the trail.
Our activities today vary from observing animals from a special hideout as well as relishing the flora’s and fauna’s along the river. Our visit today will cover both Lata Barkoh as well as Tabing Hide. Due to safety purposes with rocks upon trekking, it is much relaxing to just sit back on a boat-ride cruising along Tahan River surrounded by magnificent views of Taman Negara. What is so special about Lata Barkoh is that, Lata Berkoh is a series of cascades across large boulders along Tahan River. Ensure to snap many pictures as Lata Barkoh displays the natural beauty of Taman Negara Rainforest special from Peninsular Malaysia. Whereas for Tabing Hide, it is a structurally sound built up hide, positioned strategically facing the salt lick where many animals regularly visit to consume clay, supplementing their diet with nutrient and minerals. Among those animals always being spotted including reindeer, tapir, wild boar and etc.
After breakfast, it is free at leisure for any last minute souvenir shopping around the hotel/resort or taking photos, before we proceed to check out and transfer to the airport. We hope you return home with wonderful and memorable memories and visit us again.
